Keeping Kids Busy And Being Productive!

As I have mentioned in my 'About Me' section, I have two children. I have a little boy (6) and a little girl (4). I wouldn't have it any other way! Anytime that I start thinking that I may want another child, I just borrow someone else's. My kids have had their 3 year old cousin (Leigha) over for three days. She is such a wonderful little girl (thank goodness), but I HAVE to keep them busy. My son is in school, so right now it's just the girls. "Mommy, she's being loud!", "Jessi, she's in my way!". I have had about four breaks of just deep breathing today.  They have colored, made bracelets, and made snowmen, Once they get up from their naps, we will be making a Christmas present for Leigha's mom. We are going to make her some Homemade Mary Kay Satin Hands. Walgreen's had their Dawn Dish soap on sale for $.99. I TOTALLY stocked up when I found this soap on My Frugal Adventures. I love checking out other blogs, you never know what kind of useful information or fun stuff you will find! While we have all of the ingredients out, I'll go ahead and make a few more batches for gifts :)The only thing I have to do with this is the measuring, and maybe a bit more stirring. It's something that she can watch her Mom open on Christmas morning (if she can keep it a secret that long) with pride. I love that look. The, 'I did it all by myself ' look. There's nothing better than helping children grow.
